Coach Bernard

Bernard Navarro (coach b), owner, and coach for 7th Generation Jiu Jitsu, has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and teaching self-defense for over 15 years. Coach Bernard has a black belt in BJJ and has competed at ever belt level. “BJJ is the most effective martial art for real life self-defense situations, and everyone would benefit from training self-defense techniques. BJJ is meant to be effective for the smaller weaker person.”

Morning Class Coach

Coach David Thull

David Thull is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has been training for nearly 20 years. He has been teaching BJJ for over 10 years and has years of experience teaching self-defense, boxing, and cross-training. Coach Dave teaches BJJ classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30am to 6:45am. He is also a Steel Mace instructor and ultra-marathon runner.
