I am a woman, is Jiu-Jitsu right for me?
Absolutely! Jiu-Jitsu is a great activity for women. At 7th Generation Jiu-Jitsu we are inclusive of all genders and believe Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone committed to learning and growing as a person. Jiu-Jitsu is also great for self-defense and contributes to one's overall physical and social well-being.
Jiu-Jitsu is meant for the smaller weaker practitioner to use technique and leverage to defeat the larger opponent. We do NOT punch eachother or aggressively attack our training partners. In Jiu-Jitsu we apply movements which are graceful and fluid, but very challenging physically and mentally.
Women will also have the opportunity to meet passionate people and growing community of female Jiu-Jitsu fighters.
